Recycling Idaho’s electronics since 2004
PC Recyclers of Idaho is an R2v3 certified e-waste recycling provider serving Idaho and eastern Oregon since 2004. We work with businesses, school districts and charitable organizations from our facility at 1260 East Watertower Street in Meridian.
Our primary goal is to refurbish the equipment we receive and donate it to the community and local charities or sell it through wholesale channels. If the equipment is not reusable, we recycle it through our approved processes using certified downstream service providers. We are committed to providing a secure data destruction solution for our customers while minimizing the environmental impact.
What happens to your equipment
We take data security seriously, and every piece of equipment we receive goes through the same process — a single laptop is handled no differently from a pallet of servers:
- Data-bearing drives are wiped to the NIST 800-88 standard, or physically destroyed in our Ameri-Shred shredder when they cannot be wiped.
- Working equipment is refurbished and either donated to the community or sold through wholesale channels.
- Whatever is left is recycled through certified downstream service providers, so it stays out of the landfill.
Need proof for your own records or auditors? Ask us for a certificate of destruction and we will provide one.
Certifications and memberships
For over a decade we have followed SERI’s R2 standard for responsible recycling, and we are certified to its current version, R2v3. Our certifications are audited by independent registrars, not self-declared.

We firmly believe that we have a responsibility to help support our local community. We see far greater value in helping someone get access to a computer or other technologies rather than simply just recycling it. Since 2004 we have donated refurbished equipment to families in need, schools, churches and charitable organizations across Idaho.
